Refex pH Sensors

Refex pH sensors are industrial-grade measurement tools that utilize a patented non-porous solid-state reference system, which provides reliable, accurate, and low-maintenance pH measurement in challenging process conditions. They are designed to resist common problems like fouling, chemical poisoning, and electrolyte loss that affect traditional porous junction sensors. Refex pH sensors are used across a variety of industries, particularly where conventional sensors fail quickly due to harsh conditions:

• Petroleum Refining and Petrochemical: Used in sour water strippers (high temperature, H₂S, ammonia), desalter wash water, and other processes where poisoning and fouling are significant issues.

• Water and Wastewater Treatment: Ideal for potable water, industrial wastewater, and sewage treatment, especially in cold, low-ionic water or water with heavy metals and organic loads.

• Food and Beverage: The protein-resisting properties of the sensor make it suitable for use in the food and beverage industry, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-In-Place (SIP) processes.

• Pulp & Paper and Heavy Metal Processes: Used in applications involving harsh chemicals and processes where reliability and resistance to fouling are essential.
