Aracus-Advanced Amino Acid Analyzer

MembraPure offers the ARACUS series of dedicated amino acid analyzers, which are widely used in research, quality control, and clinical diagnostics. These analyzers use the gold standard method of post-column derivatization with ninhydrin for high precision and accuracy. Both amino acid analyzers are available in different configurations, including the ARACUS Classic and ARACUS Advanced, which can be single-pump or dual-pump systems:

• Performance: They can detect as low as one picomole of amino acids and quantify up to 54 amino acids with high reproducibility and accuracy
• Sample Handling: The analyzers feature a cooled autosampler that can hold up to 96 samples (2 x 48 vials) for continuous analysis, with a washing routine to prevent cross-contamination
• Eluent System: The system uses a chloride-free and citrate-free buffer system, which is less aggressive to the internal components. Eluent racks (EluBox) house up to 6 bottles with active fluid volume monitoring
• Software: The instruments are controlled by user-friendly software like iControl and aminoPeak (or Clarity for 21 CFR part 11 compliance) for data acquisition and analysis.
• Applications: ARACUS is suitable for various applications, including food analysis, clinical diagnostics and bioprocessing
