Ionus PCD Ion Chromatograph Analyzer

MembraPure has designed the IONUS, a versatile and modular ion chromatography (IC) system designed for the fast and reliable analysis of anions and cations. The system is built for a wide range of applications, including environmental monitoring (water quality), food safety, and biological process control:

• Versatile Detection: The standard configuration uses a high-sensitivity conductivity detector, but it can be upgraded with a post-column derivatization (PCD) unit and a single-wavelength photometer to detect transition metals or bromate at levels as low as 5 ppb.
• Column Compatibility: Designed to work with chromatography columns from all major manufacturers, providing flexibility for specific analytical challenges
• Automation: Features an autosampler capable of handling 96 samples (2×48 vials) and is operated via the user-friendly iControl software, which supports automated rinsing and equilibration
• Suppression Technology: Includes an automated anion suppression system that is pressure-stable, ensuring low signal-to-noise ratios and detection limits down to 1 µg/L.
• Reliability: IONUS is designed for minimal maintenance and high precision measurements (standard deviation < 0.1% for anion standards)
